Along with the completed Residential Application Form, we would require the following supporting documentation where applicable:
At application stage, we will complete a hard credit search and use electronic ID&V. We would only request additional documentation if this is unsuccessful.
Employed: last 2 months' salary slips
Self-employed: last 2 years' SA302s and last 2 months' business bank statements
2 years' accounts only required where the customer is >50% shareholder and would like us to consider the use of net profit, or if the loan amount is in excess of 75% loan to value or £750,000
Bonus payment: last 2 P60s and average would be used
Fixed / zero-hours contracts: last 2 salary slips and latest P60
Investment income: portfolio statement dated within last 12 months
Other income: last 2 months banks statements evidencing corresponding credits
Last 2 months' bank statements for all active current accounts showing client name and address.

If applicable, statement showing savings or completed gifted deposit form, which can be accessed here.
The customer declaration can be signed and scanned at application stage, which covers permission to undertake credit searches.
We require the original direct debit mandate wet signed prior to mortgage offer but we can proceed with a scanned copy at application stage.
The signed hard copy should be posted to: Cumberland Intermediaries, Cumberland Building Society, Cumberland House, Cooper Way, Parkhouse, Carlisle, Cumbria CA3 0JF.
