Many of our roles can be worked remotely and we can provide you with the means to be able to do this effectively.

Throughout our branch network and head office we have a number of measures in place to ensure the safety of both our people and customers during the Covid 19 pandemic. Our policies and procedures are kept up-to-date as the situation changes and evolves.


Working in branch puts you at the centre of our communities, and gives you the opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of our customers every day.

There are lots of opportunities for progression too. Some of our Branch Managers started out as Customer Care Assistants, and some of our senior management team at head office began their Cumberland journey in-branch.

Head Office

Our head office is a busy hub, where over half of our people are based. Our teams enjoy open plan working, a friendly atmosphere and our very own Café.
