Getting started with the Mobile Banking app

To use the Mobile Banking app you must be an existing Cumberland Internet Banking customer and have previously registered your mobile phone number with us.

The following steps apply when:

  • You are downloading the app for the first time.
  • You have used the app before, and you want to download it again to a new device.

What you need to do

1) Download the the app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

2) Open the app and select 'Register' from the main menu to register your device.

3) Read and accept the Terms and Conditions to continue.

4) Enter your Customer Number and Access Code which you use to log on to Internet Banking.

5) You’ll then receive a one-time security code by text message. Enter the code to continue. We’ll never ask you to share this code with us or anyone else.

6) Set up a Passcode to use each time you log on. You can also set up Face / Touch ID or Fingerprint Authentication on compatible devices.
