Our charitable foundation provides funding to support our local communities and spreads kindness in all sorts of ways.
We are proud to be part of our local communities and we are committed to supporting the people who have supported us for 170 years. We want to make a positive difference to people’s lives now and in the future, and we do this in a number of ways.
We actively support charitable causes and projects – and the majority of our financial support goes straight to projects benefitting people in our area.
In 2023/2024, our most significant community giving is supporting people to overcome the main challenge many people across Cumbria and Lancashire face daily: food poverty. This is our Kinder Kind of Kitchens community initiative, in partnership with Fareshare Lancashire and Cumbria.
We also support our communities in many other ways. Whether it’s a donation, education or financial support, we’re privileged to be able to help others achieve our common goals.
We'll keep you updated here and across our social channels on our latest donations and some of the exciting things that our teams have been up to.
