We’re working hard to protect you against fraud and scams, but there’s lots of ways you can help protect yourself, too. On this page, you can learn more about the different types of fraud and scams, and how to spot them.

Here are some things which we'll never do

  1. Ask for your PIN, Internet Banking login details or One Time Passcodes
  2. Send someone to your home to collect cash, bank cards or anything else
  3. Ask you to authorise the transfer of funds away from your Cumberland accounts
  4. Ask for a One Time Passcode to cancel a transaction or authorise a refund
