Banking safely with The Cumberland

Right now, we’re working hard to provide an essential service to the communities we serve while keeping our customers and our colleagues safe.

We’d like to thank each and every Cumberland customer for your patience and support, our communities for sticking together and supporting each other, and of course our colleagues, for adapting to the current situation and making sure we’re #BrighterTogether.

Here’s some guidance and advice on how to bank as safely as possible with us.

Social distancing

Please only visit a branch if it is absolutely necessary. If you do need to visit, please respect the 2 metre distancing requirements in place. Please note, in busy periods this may mean we need to limit the number of customers that enter the branch.

Wearing a face covering in shops and businesses is now also mandatory. Please remember to wear your face covering before entering any of our branches.

Managing your account

You can use our online services to help you manage your everyday banking needs without having to leave your home.

Fraud protection advice

Criminals use exceptional circumstances such as the current COVID-19 situation as an opportunity to target people for fraud scams. Follow our fraud protection advice to help keep your money safe at this time.

Support for businesses

Our dedicated commercial team are working with our customers throughout this crisis to provide whatever support we can. We have also gathered together some useful resources and information to help you navigate through this unprecedented time.
