Properties can be freehold or leasehold with a minimum of 85 years left on the lease at the start of the mortgage and 50 years on maturity.
No minimum income or home ownership required, except where specified on particular products. We consider background income and asset/liability position.
Arrangement fees will apply. Legal and valuation fees are met by borrowers for all Cumberland Business mortgages.
Limited Company borrowers must be incorporated in the UK and beneficial owners must be resident in the UK, or UK ex-pats.
Individual borrowers must be resident in the UK or UK ex-pats.
We are unable to mortgage property which is a temporary or movable structure.

Our operating area is Cumbria (CA and LA postcodes), South-West Scotland (DG and TD9), West Northumberland (NE45-49), North Lancashire (PR, FY, LA AND BB1-3 and BB5-7) and North Yorkshire (HG, YO, BD20, BD23-24, DL6-11, LS21-23 and LS29).
