Stephen joined the Cumberland in 1993 to form the Commercial Lending team. Prior to that he worked for NatWest for 15 years principally in lending roles. In total he has over 20 years experience in the Commercial sector.

Bill joined the Society in 1998.  He holds Chartered Banker status and is a former Business and Corporate Lending Manager with Clydesdale Bank.  In total he has over 20 years experience in the Commercial Banking sector.

David has been a member of the Commercial Lending team since 1997. Prior to joining the Society he worked for NatWest for 22 years, almost exclusively in front line customer contact roles. In total he has over 30 years experience in the Commercial Banking sector.

David joined the Society straight from school in 1983. He has undertaken a variety of roles within the Society, including Branch Manager at Ambleside and Windermere branches. He joined the Commercial Lending Dept in 1998.

Peter joined the Commercial Lending team at the Cumberland in 2004 having previously worked for HSBC for almost 30 years.  He worked in a number of cities in the North of England  before settling in Cumbria with his family 20 years ago.  Most of Peter's career has been spent lending money to a wide range of businesses.
